Mark your calendar for the next concert put on by our music program.  The Summer Music Concert will be held on Thursday, May 24th in the Placer High School auditorium. Admission is free and it is a great opportunity to see your students perform.

We are seeking new and returning parent driver volunteers.

We need to be able to transport students via carpool for as many events as possible due to budget constraints.  If you can help, please click here for PHS Driver Packet forms and submit them to Mr. Lawrenson along with the following:

• Completed Driver Packet forms
• Current insurance policy showing liability limitations
• Copy of your driver's license
• Current DMV driving record.  Obtain from DMV or download the form from the DMV site http://www.dmv.ca.gov/online/dr/welcome.htm?lang=en.  There is a small cost involved.

Parent drivers must submit new paperwork for each school year.  For more information email communications@placermusic.org.

Grocery Card Fundraiser

Raley's/Belair and SaveMart cards are available for families to use while shopping at these stores.  The Shell Gas card connection offered at SaveMart cancels out a connection to the Music Boosters for rewards.  The SaveMart card program provides a major source of funds for the Boosters.  Please keep your Booster loyalty and do not switch to the Shell rewards.  It is important to remember that Savemart gives us by far the best return on our cards. Raley's/Belair is also very important, but SaveMart is especially huge for us. Please consider asking your friends and relatives to take part in this painless fundraiser, which requires only that you pick up a Raley's/Belair/SaveMart card at the next Music Boosters' monthly meeting and show it to the cashier when you purchase groceries. School Daily Deals Fundraiser

We have contracted with the School Daily Deals company, www.schooldailydeals.com, to begin a new "groupon" style fundraiser. Please let us know if you do not want to be included in our Daily Deals email list and we will not submit your email information.  If you have family and friends who would like to participate in the Daily Deals fundraiser, we would appreciate getting their contact information as we need to expand our group for the fundraiser to be successful.  Let us know about anyone who might want to shop locally and help the PHS Music program at the same time.
