Through VolunteerSpot, it’s easy to see what help is needed (times, days, jobs) and simply sign up. You can return to the site to add or change commitments easily. You’ll even get a reminder email two days before your day to work.
Here’s how it works in 3 easy steps:
- Click the VolunteerSpot Link for the event you want to help with, which will take you to our invitation page on VolunteerSpot. Enter your email address.
- VolunteerSpot will then send you a personal* signup invitation coded to your email address. (no registration or password is required).
- Go to your email inbox and open the invitation from VolunteerSpot – click "Sign Up Now/Learn More" to choose your spots. You can see where help is still needed. Click on a day you’re interested in to see which spot(s) are available, and to read a brief description of the task. You can click on “Filled” to see who is working a shift. If you’ve already signed up, click on “View Spots” to see your personal signups.
* Your personal sign up invitation contains a link to be used by your email address only. Only people who use that email address can use that link. If you delete your personal signup invitation, just go to www.VolunteerSpot.com and click “Find My Activity Links” to get a new email with links to all your activities.
Comments or questions about VolunteerSpot are welcome – contact the Music Booster President at firstname.lastname@example.org. This free program is supported by minimal advertising and donations. You can change your information and/or opt out of “special offers” from their sponsors by clicking on “Your Info” link once you are signed in. They will not share your phone number with anyone. More information is at http://www.volunteerspot.com/faq
You are always welcome to contact the event organizer to sign up if you prefer not to use VolunteerSpot, or if you have trouble accessing their site.
